The St. Joseph Public Library has opened a temporary branch in the old Brown Intermediate School. The library’s collection is located in the former school’s library.

The temporary branch was opened after the Main Branch downtown closed at the end of October for renovation and expansion. The projects are expected to take between 18 and 24 months to complete. Groundbreaking is planned for next Spring on the construction.

The new Keller Park Branch, on Beale Street, officially opened on Monday. It features local and family history resources, public internet access, and more.

The branch is open Monday through Saturday from 9 to 5.
