I’ll take “She Did The Area Proud” for a thousand, Alex.

A nice run as champion on the TV quiz show Jeopardy came to an end Monday night for a Dowagiac woman.

Jennifer Quail lost after a nine-day run that saw her rake in $230,800.

In just nine wins she was able to net the 12th-highest regular play total in the long-running show’s history.

Her performance was enough to earn a spot in the upcoming Jeopardy Tournament of Champions.
