Two people killed in Marshall County crash

Two people were killed when their vehicle smashed into a semi.

The collision happened around 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 16, on U.S. 6 and Miami Highway in Marshall County.

Indiana State Police said the car failed to stop at the stop sign and drove under the trailer of the semi.

Mark Ley Jr., 38, and his passenger, Krystal Smith, 36, of Kendallville, were pronounced dead at the scene.
