South Bend man arrested for driving stolen vehicle

A South Bend man is facing charges after he was allegedly caught driving a stolen vehicle Monday.

Just before 10 p.m., a Marshall County police sergeant clocked a vehicle traveling over 100 miles per hour on U.S. 31 near 12th Road.

After conducting a traffic stop, the officer discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen out of St. Joseph County.

The driver, identified as 19-year-old Jeremiah Dockery, was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail. ABC 57 News reports he faces Theft and Reckless Driving charges.
