The sentence has been handed down in the death of a pregnant Mishawaka teenager in 2018.

Aaron Trejo has been sentenced to 65 consecutive years in prison. That’s 55 for murder and 10 for feticide. In October Trejo pleaded guilty to both crimes in the deaths of 17 year-old Breana Rouhselang and their unborn child in 2018. They were discovered in a dumpster behind a restaurant.

Trejo was 16 at the time and both teens were students at Mishawaka High School.

Trejo’s plea deal waived his right to appeal his conviction and sentence.

He faced a maximum sentence of up to 81 years for the crimes.
