A $5-million bond has been set for a man charged with keeping two separate people captive in 2019.

Matthew Murzynski, 24, was arrested for taking part in the torture and murder of a Columbia City woman back in December. He’s also charged with Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury and Confinement for his actions against a 32-year-old man from Sturgis in October.

Two other men are charged in both cases. Donald Ray Owen, Jr. and Mario Angulo, Jr. were both arrested in December alongside Murzynski.

WSBT reports reports Owen and Angulo are being held without bond.
