Wabash Valley Corrections Officer arrested

A correctional officer at the Wabash Valley facility has been arrested as part of an investigation into possible misconduct.

Sergeant Jeremy McGlynn is accused of battery on an offender at the facility. He was placed on suspension the day of the allegations. A warrant was issued for his arrest on February 14 for a felony misconduct charge and a misdemeanor battery charge.

He was taken into custody Sunday. McGlynn began working for the Indiana Department of Corrections in January of 2017, and was fired on February 9.
