Fourth death in Michigan linked to e-cigarettes or vaping

A fourth person in Michigan has died as a result of e-cigarette or vaping associated lung injury.

It was an adult female patient.

The death comes as new cases related to the outbreak have decreased in Michigan and across the country, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

They are urging doctors to remain vigilant in educating patients about the potential risks associated with vaping, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Since August, 73 confirmed and probable vaping-related lung injury cases have been reported in Michigan.

The CDC says as of early this month, there has been more than 2,700 reported cases.

The agency has identified vitamin E acetate as strongly associated with vaping-related lung injury.

You don’t even mention that Vitamin E-Acetate is ONLY associated with THC cartridges? Shoddy, misleading, lazy journalism

All of these lung-injuries are caused by e-joints (cannabis products), not e-cigarettes (nicotine products). No concrete contaminant has been found in vaping/e-cigarette liquids to date.

Please get your reporting straight, and perhaps review some of the other misinformation from WHO/Bloomberg-associated institutions.
