Suspect sought after armed robbery & shooting at food mart in South Bend

South Bend Police are asking for help identifying a suspect in a shooting.

The shooting happened during an apparent armed robbery attempt around 8:50 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23 at a convenience store at the corner of Kemble and Dubail Streets.

The store clerk was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening wounds to their lower body.

South Bend Police tweeted a surveillance photo of a possible suspect and is asking for anybody who knows the suspect’s identity to contact them.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
