Governor Eric Holcomb is apologizing after not practicing proper social distancing this past weekend.

Holcomb took a selfie with two people in Brown County over the weekend, and he can be seen in the photos without wearing a protective mask.

Holcomb says it was a “lapse in vigilance”.

Brown County has 18 confirmed cases of coronavirus and one death.

WTHR-TV in Indianapolis asked Gov. Holcomb about the issue and he said he left his mask in his car while running into a restaurant for take-out. He admitted posing for a selfie with two people. He also apologized to all the healthcare professionals working to slow the spread.
