Man arrested for armed robbery in December

(Sam Householder/The Elkhart Truth)

A South Bend man has been arrested in Elkhart for a robbery that happened at a convenience store this past December.

27 year old Dominick Taylor originally turned himself into police a few days after the robbery at the behest of his mother who saw his picture on the news. However, he later refused to make a statement after speaking to a lawyer.

His arrest warrant was served last week. He is accused of holding the clerk at the Franklin Gas Plus at gunpoint.
