Reported shooting kills one, injures another in South Bend Wednesday

One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting in South Bend Wednesday night.

Police were called to the 1100 block of E. McKinley Avenue around 9 p.m. on reports of gunshots being fired.

Upon arrival, officers found a juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police also found an adult man inside the home, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses are currently being interviewed, and there is no suspect information available at this time.

The identity of the deceased victim will be updated at a later time.
