The arrest was made Thursday and charges have already been filed against 68-year-old Therese Rice in connection to the death of Bill Rice, back in January 2005.
On the day of Bill Rice’s purported murder she called 9-1-1 and told dispatchers she found her husband in the driveway of their North Liberty home and that he must have suffered a heart attack. However police discovered he was shot.
It wasn’t until 2016 that investigators received tips that Therese may have been responsible for his death.
