Elkhart County Health Department urging residents to wear masks

In a directive issued by the Elkhart County Health Department officials are strongly encouraging people that live in the county to wear a mask when they are out in public, something they say has not been commonly practiced to this point.

Elkhart County has been seeing on the largest and most consistent spikes in the country. However, local leaders like Elkhart Mayor Rod Roberson, have stated before that mandates may not be enforceable.
