Crash in Niles injures four, one with potentially life-threatening injuries

Four people are injured after a crash in Niles Tuesday.

Police were called to the area of 11th Street, near Fort Street, just before 5 p.m. on reports of a two-vehicle crash.

An investigation revealed that a Nissan Sentra was exiting the Speedway Gas Station on 11th Street when it failed to yield the right-of-way to a Ford Explorer.

The Ford then struck the driver side door of the Nissan.

The driver of the Ford, and his passenger, were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Nissan was transported to the hospital with serious, possible life-threatening injuries. Her passenger was also transported for non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
