Indiana Dunes begins coronavirus safety campaign

Indiana Dunes’ latest safety campaign has shifted its focus.

Park managers have started the “Think Before You Beach” promotion to remind Hoosiers to stay aware of the coronavirus.

The campaign makes it clear that visitors can still catch the virus while outside, especially if the beach is crowded.

There are several safety posters in and around the Dunes and nearby neighborhoods, as well as an online ad campaign.

We need reminded to "stay aware of the Corona virus"...Absolute stupidity!!! July 21, 2020 at 9:56 am

Maybe “park managers” should make everyone aware that a metorite or lightning may strike them at anytime as well. What about the odds of being in a car crash on your way to the beach or being eaten by a giant catfish. Someone better warn beach goers of these scary issues so we can “Think before we beach”. Really everyone should just go hide in a hole somewhere. Absolute stupidity!
