Family Video is closing more than 100 stores nationwide, including three locally.

Half of the locations will close next month, including those on Main Street, Bittersweet Road and Auten Road.

The store on Milburn Boulevard in Mishawaka, along with one in both Niles and Elkhart, will remain open.

WSBT reports everything is on sale, including video games and new releases.

The impending closures don’t necessarily mean loss of jobs though, as everyone who wanted to remain on-staff was able to be hired at another local Family Video location.

The three stores will officially close on October 16.
