Michigan ranks among the worst states in the country in the administering of COVID-19 vaccines.

Only Arizona, Kansas, and four southern states have vaccinated fewer people per capita, according to a report from The Detroit Free Press.

Michigan has received more than 379 thousand doses of Pfizer’s and Moderna’s coronavirus vaccines, but only one-third of those doses have been administered, according to state health department data.

Some front-line workers in the state are declining to be vaccinated, and more then a quarter of a million doses remain unused in freezers.
