Kosciusko County SWAT involved in Thursday deadly shootout

Indiana State Police are investigating after SWAT was involved in a deadly shootout in Kosciusko County.

The SWAT Team was sent to an apartment to serve a search warrant around 6 p.m. Thursday. Gunfire started after the officers entered the apartment.

WSBT reports two people inside the home were shot.

Roger Hipskin, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 35-year-old woman was taken to the hospital for injuries, though there’s currently no word on her condition.
