Indiana is still not making teachers a priority for the COVID vaccine, despite guidelines from the CDC.
The Hoosier state is hoping to lower the age for the vaccine soon to those 60 and older, but despite recommendations from the CDC the next round does not include teachers. Educators in many neighboring states, including Michigan, have been prioritized as states prepare to reopen schools.
The CDC agrees with Indiana teachers that they should be vaccinated as a priority. Governor Holcomb is sticking with the state’s age-based approach, despite teachers being prioritized in all four of the surrounding states.

Why should the classroom liars EVER be a priority for ANYTHING???
Always wanting to be me first and me the most. Maybe they will cancel classes (because who cares about teaching) and go dance around the state capital again demanding to be first and get the most.
They should not be a high priority. Follow the science.
Teacher like all other legal citizens should be under the same guidelines used by the state as to eligibility based on age.
