(Jon Zimney/95.3 MNC)

The South Bend Public Works Water Division will be holding a full-scale emergency response drill on Tuesday.

The drill will simulate a water-related emergency in order to ensure all key personnel are trained on necessary protocols and procedures for real emergencies.

Bartlett Street, from Michigan Street to Riverside Drive, and Riverside Drive from Michigan to Bartlett Streets will be closed while the drill is active.

Drivers may experience delays on Michigan Street, though they are asked to keep traffic moving as smoothly as possible.

It’s happening Tuesday from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at the North Pumping Station on the east side of Leeper Park.
