President Biden visited the Pfizer Global Supply Plant in Portage, Michigan on Wednesday, and urged Americans to get the COVID vaccine.

Biden said the fight against the pandemic is a “case of life and death, talking about people’s lives.”

Virus rates are steadily declining but concerns are growing about new strains and variants that are more easily transmitted. Biden thanked the 3,000 workers at the plant and said “the vaccines are safe.”
