The South Bend Police are investigating an armed robbery early Thursday morning. It happened around 1:30 in the morning in the 2100 block of South Bend Avenue.

The victim reported cash and other items were stolen by a male suspect. He’s described as 6 foot tall and about 130 pounds. He was carrying a black backpack and had a dark-colored handgun.
