Woman killed in double shooting in South Bend identified

The woman killed in a double shooting, on Tuesday, April 27, in South Bend has been identified.

Police received a “ShotSpotter” alert around 11;15 p.m. in the area of Illinois and Ford Streets.

On arrival, officers found a man and a woman inside a home suffering from gunshot wounds. The woman pronounced dead at the scene is identified as Olivia Carrillo, 26, of South Bend.

A 26-year-old man remains hospitalized, though his condition is stabilized.

Metro Homicide investigators have been interviewing witnesses.

So far, there is no suspects or arrests announced.
