A man wanted on active meth-related warrants was arrested in Michigan City, but police ended up with a second suspect connected to the case, as well.

Police were serving a search warrant at his hotel room at the Ramada Inn, late last week, after getting a tip that Robert Rosenbourgh, 33, was living there, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Before officers police executed the warrant, an hotel worker, Trinity Hawkins, 43, tipped him off.

Rosenbourgh was taken into custody after a search of his room resulted in the seizure of narcotics, cash and paraphernalia.

Hawkins was charged with assisting a criminal.
