St. Joseph County Department of Health rescinds mask order

(SJCDofH)

The St. Joseph County Department of Health issued a statement Thursday afternoon that rescinds a public health order that required people in enclosed public spaces to wear face coverings in certain circumstances. They are recommending that the County Council rescind the related ordinance as well.

The move was made following revised CDC guidelines earlier in the day regarding mask use nationwide.

Anyone who is not fully vaccinated or does not have acquired immunity should continue to take all appropriate precautions, including wearing face coverings and social distancing, and the vaccine is still recommended by the County Health Department.

But effective immediately, the statement from the St. Joseph County Health Department allows fully vaccinated people to resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal and territorial laws, rules and regulations two weeks after their completed course of vaccination.

What about those who have had COVID and now have immunity too?????? Why so much emphasis on the vaccine????? Who has a conflict of interest?????

It’s our way and Darth Fauci”s way or stay home isn’t it??????

It’s amazing how so many follow a guy who should have retired at least 15 years ago and hasn’t actually treated a patient for 50 years.

And those of us who have no intention of getting THE vaccine! Will I not be allowed anywhere because I refuse to mask up? My guess is this will not end the “maskaraed” because Government and Health officials have dumped the mask policing on businesses. And by judging when I went to check out at Menards yesterday and told I couldn’t check out until the mask I actually had on was over my nose properly according to the cashier. Who made her an expert in mask wearing. How did she know of I had Covid and am immune or have been vaccinated. She never even asked. I for one am done as of today, no more!!!
