Woman, 35, arrested after deadly stabbing in Elkhart

The woman who was injured in a deadly stabbing in Elkhart, last week, has been arrested on a preliminary murder charge.

It was Thursday morning, May 20, at around 8 a.m., when Elkhart County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in the 23000 block of Florence Avenue where they found Alejandro Vergara, 35, injured and unconscious, after being stabbed in an apparent domestic dispute.

Vergara died after being airlifted to the hospital.

Blanca Hernandez, 31, was also injured. The prosecutor’s office says formal charges against her are expected to be filed early next week.

Maybe we put us innocents in prison and all the idiots roam free, won’t being and they will have killed each other. Stay safe everyone.

This upsets me after being mentally and physical abused and cheated by a person and still loved him after all and she’s a killer for defending her self now we know Blanca she would always take blame for things that she didn’t do because she didn’t what others to get in trouble 😭😭
