Lights, camera, action? Independent filmmakers are shooting a movie in Niles, Michigan that looks to put the city on the map.

Oddest of the Odd Production is set to begin filming a Goosebumps concept movie at the location of a former restaurant on Front Street, The Rage.

The plan is to release the R-rated film at the end of June.

Filmmakers say they are relying on social media buzz and crowd funding efforts to help get the greenlight for their movie.
