The COVID numbers have certainly improved in St. Joseph County.

Wednesday it was announced that the county’s 7-day positivity rate was at 3.8%. That’s the lowest rate since the beginning of the pandemic.

WSBT reports that the latest figures show over 42% of county residents are considered fully vaccinated — more than 115,000 people. 2,000 others have received their first dose.

Indiana’s state average is just over 37%.
