Man, 43, found dead inside barn that caught fire in Berrien County

A man was found dead inside a barn that caught fire in Berrien County.

Crews were called to the property in the 37-hundred block of Clawson Road in Pipestone Township shortly after 12 a.m. on Sunday, June 20, to find the barn fully engulfed.

The barn was not near the house and crews were notified that a family member could be inside the barn.

Crews from multiple fire departments provided aid in extinguishing the fire.

After the flames were knocked out, a male victim was found within the building remains.

The victim of the fire was identified as Dustin Daily, 43.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

The investigation will continue to determine the possible cause of the fire and the findings will be forwarded to the Berrien County Prosecutors Office for review.
