Shipshewana man, 68, injured in small plane crash in Edwardsburg

A 68-year-old Shipshewana man piloting a crop dusting plane crash into a wooded area in Edwardsburg.

The crash happened just after 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, in the 27000 block of Indigan Lane.

The pilot was transported to the hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries was not immediately known.

The crash remains under investigation by the FAA.

Agencies assisting Cass County Sheriff’s Office included Michigan State Police, Edwardsburg Fire, Edwardsburg Ontwa Township Police Department and SMCAS Ambulance.
