(Maci Tetrick/ABC 57 Meteorologist) We have a beautiful, warm summer day in store for celebrating Independence Day with dry conditions for watching fireworks.
It will feel hot for Sunday with a high near 90, but the heat index will actually be in the mid 90s.
The work week will start hot and dry – highs stay near 90 on Monday and Tuesday.
The first chance for showers and thunderstorms arrives Tuesday afternoon, but a better chance for a good soaking on Wednesday along with cooling temperatures.
