A former Notre Dame Head Football Coach has been appointed to serve on the College Football Playoff Selection Committee.
Tyrone Willingham, who skippered the Irish from 2002 to 2004, has also been the head coach at Stanford and the University of Washington. He’s also a former president of the American Football Coaches Association.
The committee is tasked with selecting the top four teams in the playoff and assigning their semifinal games, as well as ranking the other Top 25 teams.
