A man was killed in a shooting Thursday night in Elkhart.

Police say they responded to the the 600 block of Cleveland Avenue just before 9 p.m.

They found 28 year-old Deontae Harris suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later.

No arrests or suspects have been announced, and anyone with information should contact Elkhart County Homicide or Michiana’s Crimestoppers.
