Frustration is continue to mount over electric scooters amongst city leaders in Elkhart.

Officials say they’re getting complaints about the scooters, from those visiting downtown and from those who own businesses downtown.

According to the Elkhart Truth, the scooters can be often be seen traveling the wrong way on the city’s one-way streets, and even though rides must be 18 or older, children ride them regardless.

Elkhart’s Mayor, Rod Roberson, said that there is no immediate way for him to stop the scooters, but did hint that the city could potentially ban E-scooters.
