A 30-year-old Elkhart man suffered head injuries after being struck by a car.

The collision happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 1, on County Road 20 east of County Road 3 when the driver of a 2004 Acura TL was traveling eastbound and struck the man.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Factors into the collision are still being investigated.
