A 57-year-old man’s body was found after he went under the water at Ackley Lake in Paw Paw.

Crews were called on Saturday afternoon, Aug. 7, to the 34000 block of Hillside Avenue for reports of a possible drowning.

Deputies arrived quickly and coordinated a search and rescue operation with first responders and found the body about an hour later.
