Indiana Dunes National Park looking for public input on entrance fees, new services

The National Park Service is looking for public comment about a proposed entrance fee for Indiana Dunes.

The Indiana Dunes National Park could, if approved, institute new entrance fees for access based on the size of the vehicle, similar to the fees at a number of similar national parks in the US. They would go into effect on March 31 of next year.

Public comment is also sought on a pair of new proposed services at Indiana Dunes, in the form of seven new campsites. Public comments are due by October 1.
