Suspect in Benton Harbor convenience store shooting turns himself in

The man who police say shot and killed a customer at a convenience store in Benton Harbor on Sunday, Aug. 8, has turned himself into authorities.

Daniel Autrey, 24, was taken into custody without incident.

He’s charged with Open Murder after prosecutors say he took aim on Delray Lloyd, 27.

Autrey is accused of killing him inside the Sunny Spot Marathon gas station at Pipestone and Empire.

The sheriff’s department is asking that the community continue lift up the families in prayer for both sides of this tragedy.
