Overnight shooting in South Bend leaves one wounded

Police in South Bend are investigating a shooting after a gunshot victim walked into Memorial Hospital.

Reports say the victim arrived before midnight with non-life-threatening injuries to their lower body.

The South Bend Police Shooting Response Team is trying to identify the location of the shooting.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Michiana Crime Stoppers at at 574-288-STOP or 800-342-STOP.
