Berrien County commissioners eye rescinding a resolution

Berrien County Commissioners have indicated they are going to rescind their resolution of support for the county’s health department’s handling of the pandemic.

The resolution was made in late August, a week before the health department issued a mask mandate for the county’s schools.

After hours of hearing negative feedback about the mask order, commissioners are set to introduce a resolution to rescind the previous resolution, on the grounds that the mask mandate was unnecessary.

One commissioner told WSJM News she may actually call for a no confidence resolution.
