A man suspected of robbing his friend has appeared in Elkhart County court.

19-year-old Christian Leiter and another man are accused of attacking and robbing a friend back in August 2019.

The alleged robbery happened in a wooded area on the southeast edge of Elkhart.

Police say they found the juvenile only wearing a T-shirt, underwear and socks, but was bleeding from a cut on his chin with bruises on his neck.

According to The Elkhart Truth the victim told police that he, Simons and Leiter were at Simon’s home when an argument started over a missing $100 bill.

Leiter is charged with false informing after admitting he gave a fake name and birthday because he knew had a warrant.
