NIles man, 62, injured in motorcycle crash on Anderson Road in Cass County

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a motorcycle crash on Anderson Road near M-60 in Howard Township.

The collision happened around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sep. 16, when a 62-year-old Niles man was traveling on Anderson Road, lost control on a curve and struck a mailbox.

The man was found unconscious.

It’s believed he was not wearing a helmet, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

He was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend with serious injuries.
