One person was shot outside of an Elkhart bar over the weekend

It’s non-life-threatening injuries for an Elkhart man who was shot in the leg.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday outside of a bar in the 600 block of South Main Street in Elkhart.

Few details are known, but the victim told police he was standing outside the bar when he heard a commotion and gunfire.

There is no word of any suspects, arrests or whether the man was an intended target.
