Three people hurt in crash on Indian Lake Road in Cass County

Three people were hurt in a crash in Silver Creek Township and police say intoxicants may be a factor.

The collision happened around 8:10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, at the intersection of M-62 and Indian Lake Road in Silver Creek Township when a 52-year-old Berrien Center man, traveling northbound, struck a vehicle driven by a 31-year man who was turning onto M-62.

The 31-year-old man was taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for treatment to his injuries.

The Berrien Center man and a 57-year-old man who is also from Berrien Center who was traveling with him were both treated and released at the scene by paramedics.
