Ground is being broken Tuesday on Junior Achievement’s new J.A. BizTown at the ETHOS Innovation Center in Elkhart.
Once it’s complete, BizTown will provide hands-on experimental learning to teach 5th and 6th grade students about the economy. Additionally they’ll provide lessons on entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy.
The goal of the center is to help Elkhart County and the region develop a better skilled workforce and create more opportunities for kids to work locally.
Junior Achievement offers programming in all seven Elkhart County school districts as well as public and private schools throughout the area.

I remember doing JA when I was in school. It was a start to show me how businesses work. I am very grateful.
