The Elkhart County Homicide Unit has released the preliminary results into the death of a 63-year-old man.

Mark Hochstetler’s body was found at his home in Middlebury back on Sep. 29, according to  95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The preliminary investigation suggests Hochstetler died of accidental asphyxiation.

Investigators say there is no threat to public safety stemming from the death.
