A child was found dead inside of a home in Union Township in LaPorte County.
Around 2:45 Monday morning, police were called out to the 3100 block of County Road 875 for a report of a child unconscious.
According to ABC-57 News, when officers entered the home, they found a young child deceased.
The sheriff’s office says they have located and booked 28-year-old Alan Morgan as a person of interest into the LaPorte County Jail.
Police have not released the child’s identity or age.
