A 26-year-old woman was hurt after being struck by a car truck which then fled the scene.

The collision happened just before 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, on East Old Road 30 near Eastgate Apartments.

The woman suffered injuries to her back, pelvis and lower extremities. She was taken to a hospital in Fort Wayne for treatment.

Police believe the vehicle was a 2011 to 2016 white-colored Ford F-250 or F-350.

Investigators say there would be damage to the front passenger area of this vehicle near the headlight.
