Goshen shoplifter leaves behind ID, sees charges brought against

(Photo supplied/Goshen Police Department)

It didn’t take long for police in Goshen to center in on a suspect shoplifter that bolted from the store. That’s because the suspect left his ID behind.

Officers were called to the Meijer store on Elkhart Road, late Monday afternoon.

However while they were driving there, they were notified that the suspect, 44-year-old Dustin Ellsworth, took off.

Luckily for the police, he left his Indiana identification card at the store. Charges were filed against Ellsworth and sent to the prosecutors office.
